FOUNDER.
At the heart of my company lies the story of a visionary, a dreamer, and a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship. My journey has been shaped by a deep-rooted desire to serve others and a strong familial legacy of business ownership. From a young age, the seed of becoming a business owner took root in my mind, fueling an unwavering determination to create something remarkable.
As I delved into my family history, I discovered a rich tapestry of entrepreneurship woven through the generations. Great grandparents, grandparents, and uncles had all embarked on their own ventures, spanning diverse industries such as cleaning, waste management, and construction/engineering. This heritage became a guiding force, instilling a profound sense of purpose and a realization that becoming a business owner was not just a personal aspiration, but an inherent part of my DNA – a legacy to be upheld and carried forward.
The road to success was not without its obstacles. I experienced the struggle of working multiple jobs simultaneously, sacrificing precious time and energy to make ends meet. But within the depths of these challenges, I discovered an unyielding belief in their capabilities and an unwavering resolve to achieve my dreams. It was during this time that they realized my true calling: to empower and equip other Black women who, like myself, were striving to build their own successful businesses.
Armed with my own experiences and the wisdom gained along the way, I recognized the transformative power of continuous learning and growth. I embraced the notion that stepping outside one’s comfort zone is a prerequisite for success. Undeterred by the naysayers and the voices of doubt, I pressed forward, determined to create a community of like-minded Black female business owners. Through collaboration, inspiration, and mutual support, I envisioned a powerful network that would propel each member to achieve greatness.
